|Recommended: YesI'd Give Them A Solid C. Just Average. — The place is nice if you are just starting out. The maintenance is fast, and the office is relatively responsive and friendly. The units are old, the washer machine attaches to the nozzle of the kitchen sink which is something I had never seen before in my life. To say this complex is ghetto - would do it justice. I don't feel unsafe, it's just ghetto. The neighbors are loud, there are domestic disputes happening regularly I know because the walls are thin and of course...mice. I caught and killed 2 in my unit alone. It got bad in the colder months. Maintenance did respond when I put in a service call about the pests, but it didn't help much. They do have an exterminator that visits regularly - but unfortunately I still dealt with pest and vermin during my lease. Overall, for the how conveniently located it is to the Metro and to my job, I can't complain too much. But will not lease again, the rent is increasing and I know for a fact I can get more BANG for my buck elsewhere. A 1 bedroom apartment her is NOT worth more than 1,300 a month. Period. If you can find better, you should. You won't HATE it, but you certainly won't LOVE you experience here.

Noelle who I've worked with more closely has been the BEST at customer service, even when I'm sure I'm on her nerves and she wants to do something else, she has maintained the best patience and customer service. I'm super pleased.

Their automated system is great. No problems getting maintenance, paying rent and communicating with the office. Neighbors are courteous. I love the location. Keep up the good work Hilltop.
